I took out the too thin and too bent pieces, and it seems there has been some natural attrition from the stash. If you are extremely short of payload, we'll have something you can use, rebar or concrete stakes. If you can, please bring your own stakes. I'm guessing we have enough for about 20 aircraft at most. Please bring 1/2 inch rebar, 18-24 inches long. No longer, no thinner. Use TWO pieces of rebar for each wing tiedown, and one or two for the tail. As always, bring your own rope. We have handheld sledge hammers to pound in the stakes, and will have a rebar puller you can use for removal. You must remove your own rebar. If you are having trouble getting it out, please come ask for help. You are welcome to leave your rebar behind so you don't have to store it over the year. Eventually, we'll have enough rebar so that you don't have to bring it every year. Bring something to cover the ends of the rebar to prevent injury. Tennis balls, dolls' heads, empty plastic bottles all work well.
